Sinead Norton founded The Mums At Work Network in 2016 with a simple but powerful vision – to support women like herself who were balancing the demands of self-employment with the responsibilities of family life.
She knew these challenges intimately, as a devoted mother of seven and a successful entrepreneur who had already built her own award-winning company, Swift Wedding Services.
Sinead’s entrepreneurial journey had shown her the value of connection, collaboration, and shared knowledge. She believed women could achieve more when they worked together – learning from one another’s successes and mistakes – and she poured her heart into creating a space where that could happen.

What began as a small idea soon grew into a thriving network with thousands of members. The Mums At Work Network became more than a business network; it became a community where women felt seen, heard, and supported.
Sinead was personal and heartfelt. At every event, she would greet members by name, making each woman feel valued and welcome. From coffee and connects, workshops, one-to-one chats both online and in person – she made time for everyone.
Even when she began experiencing health challenges in 2020, she continued to steer the network, expanding activities and keeping her members connected and encouraged.
