Joanna Neeson, Wyse Bites

Joanna Neeson is the founder of Wyse Bites and a professionally trained chef with over 20 years of experience. Her mission is simple yet powerful: to help people of all ages and abilities build confidence in the kitchen and develop a healthy, enjoyable relationship with food.

Through Wyse Bites, Joanna works with community groups, schools, charities, and private clients to deliver inclusive, practical cookery workshops. Her sessions range from healthy eating programmes and sensory food play to budget-friendly meals and essential life skills for young adults. Every workshop is designed to be accessible, engaging, and empowering – making cooking feel possible for everyone, regardless of background or experience.

Joanna has a particular passion for working with neurodiverse children and adults, supporting picky eaters and creating joyful, stress-free food experiences. In 2023, her dedication to inclusive food education was recognised with a Federation of Small Businesses Award for Diversity and Inclusivity. She is also the author of Diverse and Delicious, a family-friendly cookbook for neurodiverse households.

In addition to her teaching, Joanna provides outside catering for events, delivering wholesome, crowd-pleasing dishes with warmth and care. Her belief is clear: food is for everyone, and she’s here to help make that a reality – one meal at a time.
