Hi, I’m Ruth Young, a Chartered (CIM) digital marketing professional and the founder of Ruthless Media. Since launching my business in 2019, I’ve specialised in two key areas: managing paid social media advertising campaigns and providing training and mentoring in organic social media.
Over the past six years, I’ve had the privilege of working with over 400 organisations across public, private, and non-profit sectors. From cancer charities to perfume brands, festivals to YMCAs, I love the diversity of clients who trust me with their paid advertising campaigns and organic social media development. There’s nothing quite like the buzz of seeing dramatic results – like reducing one client’s cost-per-click from £22.30 to just 9p in three months. That’s the kind of transformation that gets me excited about coming to work each day.
What really fires me up is working with clients who are open to trying exciting new ideas, and running training sessions where people leave feeling genuinely more confident and empowered. Everything I do is built upon connection, collaboration, inclusion, and diversity.
Beyond Ruthless Media, I’m President of Lisburn Chamber of Commerce and have qualified in Level 3 British Sign Language (NI). Whether I’m crafting targeted ad campaigns, delivering training, or bringing the business community together, it’s all about helping people connect and succeed.
